Our Story
Friends & Family Thrifting opened its doors in May 2026 at 4625 National Pike, Suite 1, Markleysburg, PA — right in the heart of the community we love. We’re an operational arm of the Friends’ Friends Foundation, the nonprofit organization that provides support and resources to families across our region.
The idea is simple: gather quality goods, sell them at honest prices, and turn the proceeds into real help for real neighbors.
What Makes Us Different
We’re built on three promises, and we work hard to keep all three every single day:
🏷️ Very Low Prices Thrifting should be affordable for everyone. We price to move merchandise — and to make sure every shopper, on every budget, can walk out with something they love.
✨ Very High Quality We curate carefully. Donated items are inspected, cleaned, and sorted before they hit the floor. If we wouldn’t bring it home ourselves, we don’t put it on the shelf.
🌱 Fresh Merchandise Daily New treasures arrive constantly. Stop in this week and you’ll find a different store than you saw last week. Regulars know the secret — the best finds reward repeat visits.

Our doors stay open thanks to a remarkable group of community members who give their time, their energy, and their hearts. Friends & Family Thrifting operates entirely with volunteers — no paid staff, no overhead drain. Every hour worked is an hour donated to our neighbors.
